Travis Walton Case: Liar in the Sky - Three-Dollar Kit

Charlie Wiser, whom Robert Sheaffer identifies as "a woman in Australia who nobody in UFOlogy seems to have heard of until about two weeks ago," does a twelve-part re-analysis of the 1975 Travis Walton abduction. In this part, the fire lookout tower is fingered as both the "UFO" and the place where Walton likely stayed for 5 days. Wiser's theory that the story was a deception perpetrated upon even some of Walton's logging crew colleagues got energy from an audio and text available in debunker Sheaffer's July 3rd post entitled Crew Chief Mike Rogers Confesses the Travis Walton Hoax! The headline graphic to that audio, originally uploaded by documentary producer Ryan Gordon, spurred Wiser's thinking as explained in Wiser's detailed reconstruction. Mike Heston Rogers (The Ryan Gordon Call) has a Rogers rebuttal to his supposed "confession." But Rogers' answer to a point-blank question about whether he participated with Walton in a hoax seems evasive. Back to Sheaffer's "Bad UFOs" blog for The Travis Walton 'UFO Abduction' Story - Meltdown! Sheaffer summarizes the kerfuffle up to, and then including a July 16 Erica Lukes UFO Classified podcast which features the "meltdown." The embedded link to that UFO Classified podcast provides two hours of Mike Rogers, and then two more of Ryan Gordon's riposte. Sheaffer may be right in saying "we will be hearing a lot more on this matter in the near future." (WM)
