Here's an interesting multi-part tweet from zoologist Darren Naish regarding a lengthy Yeti encounter known as the Rawicz Sighting. Even more interesting is the back story of the explorer, Slowawir Rawicz. Rawicz served in the Polish Army in WWII, was captured and served hard time in Gulag 103, then later escaped and made his way with a small group of escaped prisoners to Britain. His story of this seemingly impossible-to-survive journey is much more incredible than his later observation with team of investigators of a pair of Yeti for more than two hours in the Himalayas. Speaking of incredible,
Oklahoma Bigfoot Bounty Balloons to $3 Million for First to Capture Sasquatch. The state lawmaker responsible for making the initial offer is feeling pretty proud of himself as the Bigfoot bounty attracts international attention. And while he assures the legislature that no one is out to kill a Sasquatch, it's hard to imagine a fully safe and sound outcome. (CM)
