Obama Muses About UFO Disclosure - Coast to Coast AM

Former President Barack Obama offers more thoughts about what would happen were ET intelligence and prior presence proven. Military spending, new religious movements, and something more to argue about was the gist. Writing for The Atlantic, Marina Koren confesses her prior excitements and explains her present conclusion that If Aliens Are Out There, They're Way Out There. Freshly flush with funds by NASA, Adam Frank proclaims I'm a Physicist Who Searches for Aliens. U.F.O.s Don't Impress Me. While Marina Koren's admission that "the SETI community has yet to find evidence of aliens" would have to be acknowledged by Frank, he would second her observation that "ufology and SETI are two entirely different fields." Frank ignores the admittedly-vague claims of "multiple sensory systems" having locked onto UFOs and trots out canards like "no landings on the White House lawn" against the UFOs-are-ET notion. He then appropriates and transmogrifies the "we'll find out soon" prediction we've heard since Major Donald Keyhoe in the '50s said of the Government "coming clean," into "scientists ... are on the threshold of gathering data that may be relevant to the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life." And David Metcalfe argues in Hypnotic Media and Deja VU'FO--A Brief Analysis of Public Interest in Flying Saucers from 2004 to 2021 that public focus on UFOs hasn't matched that surge in the recent mainstream media.
