The International Remote Viewing Association (IRVA), in partnership with iRiS Intuition, Paris, France announce a competition for the best research proposal investigating some aspect of remote viewing. The prize is named after René Warcollier, the 19th century French chemical engineer turned parapsychologist. Remote viewing, along with psychokinesis, was also one of the research topics of the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) lab headed by the late Robert Jahn, former dean of the school of Engineering at Princeton University. The documentary by Anthony Chene entitled
The Primacy of Consciousness features a narration/interview with the PEAR lab's Brenda Dunne, who explains how she began to work at the lab, the results of their studies, and how it implies that consciousness is a fundamental aspect of the reality we experience. (PH)
