Great Apes May Have Shown Proof Of A 'Theory of Mind', Once Thought Uniquely Human - Gent Side

The ability to apprehend abstract thought, to dream and imagine, has long been considered the sole domain of Homo sapiens, but many recent studies show the theory of mind is applicable to other animals. With a simple video presenting an elaborate plot, scientists put some chimps through their paces with astonishing results. "Pfft, well duh. While octopuses have three hearts, such an advantage potentially makes the concept of heartbreak far more devastating for our cephalopod friends.
