Apollo 14 Astronaut Edgar Mitchell Secretly Conducted Psychic Experiments After Walking on the Moon - Mystery Wire

It's fair to say that Mitchell, while definitely having The Right Stuff, also had a bit of Odd Stuff, that either enhances or detracts from his achievement, depending on one's view. The titular experiment refers to his attempt to psychically send numbers/images from his space capsule to participants on Earth. The results were perhaps a tad underwhelming, but nonetheless speak to his determination to understand the human condition. We wonder what he might have thought of The Strange Psychic Mysteries of Mary Craig Sinclair. She was the wife of noted writer Upton Sinclair, who himself became intrigued in her apparent psychic abilities. In the early 20th century, the couple designed and carried out their own experiments, which produced some interesting, though not game-changing results. We might say the same of the Genetics Of Psychic Ability - A Pilot Case-Control Exome Sequencing Study, conducted recently to see if such ability is hereditary.
