Discerning Truth - The UFO Trail

Jack Brewer solicited the thoughts and suggestions of several "writers and podcasters familiar with UFOs and similar subject matter" for discerning misinformation about those subjects, among them science journalist Sarah Scoles, Carol Rainey (who is Budd Hopkins' ex-wife), Sharon A. Hill (who used to blog at Doubtful News), and James Carrion, a former International Director of the Mutual UFO Network. Brewer's respondents tend towards the more skeptical end of ufology, but their many general statements, observations, and specific suggestions are always on point or extremely close to it. This really should be part and parcel of any serious ufologist's approach to the subject, whatever their own general opinion structure and specific interests. (WM)
