Microsoft Patent Suggests Simulating the Dead With AI Chatbots - Stranger Dimensions

Reality has taken a step closer to an episode from Black Mirror. Microsoft appears to be developing an AI chatbot capable of simulating the personality of a deceased person based on their social media. So while there won't be many convos to be had from the current generation of seniors, it's possible our children's children might have access to their parents' wisdom (as well as their complete lack of good judgement at times from their misspent youth) forever thanks to AI. Or they could just buy a ghost box and hold a seance.
