Dr. Michael P. Masters Interview - The Paracast

Gene Steinberg and Randall Murphy offer two interviews representing very different attempts to understand the core mystery of UFOs and their apparent occupants. First up: the author of Identified Flying Objects: A Multidisciplinary Scientific Approach to the UFO Phenomenon. Dr. Masters champions the notion of future human evolution producing time travelers--"extratempestrials"--who are interacting with us for uncertain purposes. Anthropologist Masters accepts that the ETH and other speculations are still on the table for some UFO origins, and he's a good sport when Murphy debates conceptions of time and time-jumping with him. While Philip Kinsella also is focused on the agency/cies behind the UFOs, he was animated by a personal experience in 1989, and the title of his book, You - The Public Deceived: 'The Grand UFO Deception', conveys a notion of its underlying theme. But here the discussion goes far beyond "conspiracies," and Kinsella like Masters is non-dogmatic about his set of beliefs versus other possibilities. (WM)
