'Poltergeist' Blamed for Cupboard Chaos At Leicester Homelessness Charity - Leicestershire Live

It seems that a charity set up to assist the homeless was recently the target of either a prank, a poltergeist, or a seismic event. A cupboard filled to the max with dry goods took a tumble overnight while staff were absent, leaving a heck of a mess, some hungry bellies, and unanswered questions in the wake of broken packaging. Whatever the cause, we hope a handy staff member gets the next cupboard safely anchored to a wall before donations fill it up. Than there's this story of mayhem not so easily rectified. The Bizarre and Frightening Case of the Rosenheim Poltergeist centers around a law firm in 1967 Bavaria. Telephone anomalies, moving furniture, exploding lightbulbs--it was the stuff of movies. Experts were unable to prove conclusively that noisy spirits were causing the ruckus, but it did seem to all go away following the resignation of a 19-year-old secretary with a notable black cloud around her. Just don't expect to find any references to polts on an HR questionnaire. (CM)
