Jacques Vallée & James Fox - The Joe Rogan Experience

Ready for a serious, more than three-hour-long discussion on UFOs? You probably know who Jacques Vallee is already, but for those who may not, he's a world-renowned figure in the field of UFOs, as well as a venture capitalist and technologist. His decades long research into UFOs is featured in his Alien Contact Trilogy and his journals, the latest of which is Forbidden Science 4, all published by Anomalist Books. Also appearing on the show is James Fox, the director of the fabulous new documentary The Phenomenon. All told, it's a fascinating wide-ranging discussion, although Rogan seems hung up on Roswell, and we doubt he's ever read Vallee's works. Over at The Conversation Chris Impey, at the University of Arizona, says I'm an Astronomer and I Think Aliens May Be Out There – But UFO Sightings Aren't Persuasive. Jacques Vallee, who was also trained as an astronomer, would beg to differ. (PH)
