Rich Reynolds grants only lukewarm accolades to the first installment of
History's three-parter on Roswell. One might observe that the premier episode at least featured the human component to the still-evolving story as well as some new studies. Liberated from a February agreement not to disclose "additional information" on the series findings, Kevin Randle offers more on
Jesse's Journal and Later, Ramey's Memo. Kevin's also under-enthused about the series so far, and other ufologists may have remarks similar to those accorded James Fox' documentary film

History series, was not targeted at UFO cognoscenti
per se. Even Kevin acknowledges "For the newcomer, well, there was some interesting things to be seen." Kevin ends with "The ultimate results [of the Ramey Memo scans] will be somewhat surprising." Of a somewhat less-ballyhooed sensation than Roswell, Kevin offers
Jeffrey Morse, Len Stringfield, Richard Hall and the Fort Dix Alien. This encounter tale never really got off the ground, and Kevin's conclusion is most likely. But what is it about the human collision with the Unknown and how it often transmutes into near-mythology? Jose Antonio Caravaca has a possible explanation in
