The Strange Case of the Doppelgänger Robbery - Mysterious Universe

We're starting off our week with double trouble. In 1999 an innocent man went to jail for 15 years after being convicted of a crime he didn't commit. The man who did commit the crime looked so much like him that when finally confronted with their error, authorities were fully shaken and arranged for the innocent man's release. Around the same time period The Bizarre and Mysterious Case of the Eriksson Twins came to light. These adult twin sisters reunited after living apart for some time and embarked on what may well have been a literal drug-fueled trip. Or a shared psychosis. Or maybe they both just gave in to their crazy at the same time. Whatever the cause, a man lost his life and one of the sisters ended up in jail, and to date authorities have no real idea what caused the mayhem in the first place. (CM)
