The Latest Myers Memorial Medal Recipient - Society for Psychical Research

Edward F. Kelly at the University of VirginiaĆ¢€™s Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences has been awarded the prestigious Myers Memorial Medal by the Society for Psychical Research in the UK. Kelly has been active in parapsychology for decades and was the editor-in-chief of two groundbreaking works Irreducible Mind: Toward a Psychology for the 21st CenturyƂ , which builds on insights developed by Frederic Myers, and Beyond Physicalism: Toward Reconciliation of Science and Spirituality. A person of interest to the Ray Westphal Neuroimaging Lab in the Division of Perceptual Studies where Kelly works is Cherylee Black, a Near-Death Experiencer whose after-effects ranged from precognitive dreams to issues with poltergeist activity and PK abilities. She is the subject of the latest interview by Alex Tsakiris: Cherylee Black, Laboratory Verified PK. Cherylee Black, for anyone interested in such things, is the real deal. (PH)
