Area 51: Comments, Observations and UFOs - Mysterious Universe

Forget all you know about Area 51. Or forget some, much, or most of it, but recognize that Something Big is going on at Groom Lake. Nick Redfern injects Doubt while emphasizing the elaborate security given the area and the likelihood that disinformation is part of that effort. Some of the same uncertainty arises in Nick's Twists and Turns and a Strange Saga of an Alleged Crashed UFO. This is Nick's conclusion to his crashed saucer trilogy we've been reviewing, and it's easy to see why Nick describes the whole affair as "hmmmmm"-producing. Brent Swancer has a better-known yet still mysterious subject in The Strange Case of the Kaikoura Lights of New Zealand. Brent calls this December 1978 series of events "a case steeped in strange encounters, pilot reports, and talk of ominous government cover ups." A fascinating case with unique particulars but overall sounding like many in U.S. history. (WM)
