Sightings of Loch Ness Monster’s ‘American Brother’ Causing a Stir Among Visitors - Daily Record

Recent news out of Scotland of a tourist boat unintentionally capturing the sonar image of what may be Nessie has left similar operators on the US east coast salivating at the prospect of making a similar name for themselves. Hence the Champ Challenge, the latest hunt for Lake Champlain's purported resident beastie. They need not stop at Champ, though. The North Coast’s legendary sea monsters include Colossal Claude, aka the Columbia River Sea Serpent, and Marvin, which may well be Claude hiding out with a new identity. We'll finish off this monstrous report with a public service announcement on behalf of every aquatic creature out there. There was recently a Batch of food once given to Loch Ness Monster found by Scottish Canals, still in its original packaging. The oceans and waterways are not our personal trash cans, and the garbage we dump into our waterways kills. It might be a cute package of Nessie chow for the moment, but when an enormous creature washes up onshore, dead from an intestinal obstruction, there's going to be one less monster to capture on sonar.
