Before the days of alien abductions, the Fairy Folk were up to the same sort of mischief, or so it might appear from Brent Swancer’s account of humans being reluctantly whisked away. These "harmless little spirits, long-popular in children’s stories, he reckons were "certainly not always friendly. (For much more on the subject of fairy abductions see
Thieves in the Night by Joshua Cutchin, published by Anomalist Books.) Brent then takes a look at
Fairies and and a Mystical Ghostly Island in Ireland, summing up tales of otherworldly sights, sounds, and smells encountered by locals of long ago. (LP)
