This somewhat lengthy piece spanning from the 1960s onward is a bit of wild ride with the Hairy Man and his lesser known relations. Included with descriptions of military capture of Bigfoots, we have tales of swamp apes brought over from Florida for medical experimentation. There are reports of caves in the Caribbean inhabited by clans of Bigfoot-like creatures, as well as bodies of water laid claim to by aquatic Bigfoot. This is only a sample, providing further confirmation for those of us who believe Sasquatch and its numerous variations exist all over the planet. Ever since the paper "Today in Fort Smith" took a chance on publishing details of an encounter, it has been inundated with stories. While some are clearly hoaxes sent in by troublemakers, there are others smacking of truth and deserving of further investigation. However, as Paul Seaburn warns, the challenge to delving deeper into these incidents is in doing the due diligence required to get to the facts. (CM)
