Five Credible Near-Death Experience Stories - Magis Center

While I noted the possibility of common elements between lifeforms, earthly and otherwise, there are common themes among humans when it comes to glimpsing the hereafter. Over at the Magis Center blog is a brief overview of near-death experiences (NDEs) along with five astonishing anecdotes advocating for the existence of an afterlife. Kindly note the Magis Center is a religious organization. A little more skeptical is Alex Tsakiris and his enduring Skeptiko podcast where he now welcomes Tricia Robertson who has explored after death communication for more than 30 years, and Alex taps a rich vein of academia, anecdotes, and inquiry into this controversial phenomenon. Regardless of an afterlife, Michael Grosso notes many are still Freaked Out By Immortality. Apparently no one listened to Prince Vultan nor Valeria. Funnin' around aside, Dr. Grosso is puzzled as to why serious academics shy away from the potential existence of an afterlife. Especially when confronted with provocative ideas on the concept. (CS)
