"Unidentified Viral Objects" — The Pandemic And The UFOlogist - Intimate Alien — The Hidden Story of the UFO

Three very different sets of ruminations upon things ufological. David Halperin explores the perspective of retired epidemiologist Thomas Glass on UFOs, with particular application to the frightening 1977-78 chupa chupas incidents in the northeastern Brazilian coast. Halperin promises more on this. Miguel (RPJ) Romero lends his own unique viewpoints to Mike Clelland's The Unseen podcast in Red Pill Junkie and a Path with Heart. Mike of course possesses his own "take" on synchronicities and UFO abductions, and the result is a listen that produces musings likely undreamt by most of us--not always a bad thing. Mark O'Connell revels in The Satisfaction of Not Knowing, and produces a "short list" of beliefs he thinks characteristic of what one needs "in order to qualify as a UFO believer in 2020." Is this a caricature, an all-too-accurate depiction, or somewhere in between? Readers and students of the field may feel uncomfortable pondering this article. (WM)
