Here are decades-old yet still puzzling cases. David Halperin analyzes a Canadian man's strange remembered experience from the late 1970s. Halperin, who believes UFOs are a very significant "Myth," finds similarities with better-known UFO accounts. Another encounter from the same period is remembered in 'Air Battle between Two UFOs was Extra-terrestrial', Claims Australian Courier Reader Who Witnessed Incident. Reporter Michael Alexander proffers a video by one of the chief witnesses that provides a good account of what was seen, as well as why the witness has only fairly recently come forward with the story. There's also an interview with witnesses of the famed 1966 Westall, Melbourne, mass UFO sighting. Staying in the Southern Hemisphere but going back about ten years before is The Totally Bizarre Abduction and Space Adventure of Elizabeth Klarer. Brent Swancer conveys the detailed tale this South African contactee proclaimed. Brent also tells of A Strange Incident at Bonney Lake. In 1959 a tragic event occurred south of Seattle in Washington State. Some think the military airplane crash that killed all aboard was more mysterious than the prosaic claimed factors. (WM)
