Indian Yogi Who Claimed He Never Ate Food or Drank Water Dies of Old Age - Mysterious Universe

It's a welcome feeling in these times of pandemic and riot that there is still some good, simple Woo left in the world. Our first such case involves a recently passed Indian yogi who claimed he needed neither food nor water to survive since the age of eleven. He also didn't need bathroom facilities. Since renal failure typically doesn't manifest with 80 years of robust health, we're given to think he had the inside track on something supernatural. And if "inside tracking" is your thing, Blind people can ‘see’ letters traced directly onto their brains. This is fantastic news, giving sight to those have none. But we have to wonder about practical applications on a day to day basis. If it was our brain, we wouldn't be inviting strangers to doodle on our visual cortex. Speaking of seeing things with our brains,Strange Auras and the Mysterious Indigo Children raises more questions than simply how to rear kids that are clearly smarter than us. Are these strange, strong willed, intelligent children victims of parents who refuse to recognize cognitive impairment?Or are they examples of what we could become in a more evolved world? Earth could use more Greta Thunbergs so why not hand over the reins to this new generation of difficult, head strong, shining blue beacons? Seriously, could they do a worse job than we have? (CM)
