Who Let The Djinn In? - The Fortean

A family in Cairo has found itself  an unfortunate target in an unending cycle of incendiary events, seemingly the work of Djinn, the eastern folkloric equivalent of poltergeists. No amount of religious or neighborly intervention has been able to put an end to their nightmare, leaving their household in a sleepless and hyper-vigilant state. We can think of only one group who could help, The Mysterious Order of the Astral Projecting Witch Hunters, aka the Benandanti. (Think 16th century version of Witchers.) But leave it to the Inquisition to either drive deeply into hiding or exterminate completely the one group who could handle Djinn effectively. It's true that we don't appreciate what we have until it's gone. (CM)
