Skinwalker Ranch Secret? Ancient Giants Lair?

Tonight on History Channel, our favorite show "The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch" airs again and it has Dennis Guern and I thinking about yet another possible explanation for the weird goings on there.

First, here's the prior installments:

Today, we will discuss the concept of ancient giants and underground cities.

If you read this blog often enough, you might know that ancient giants are a huge obsession of mine. Their presence seems to both terrify government, religious and educational institutions, but also seem to answer many odd questions about how there was higher technology alongside the indigeous people of the Americas, Egypt, Asia, Europe and other places.

On my blog, Dennis Guern and I have covered Lovelock Cave mysteries and the supposed Grand Canyon find. But, what many don't know is that the State of Utah is perhaps the most mysterious mining hub for the ancient giants than imagined.

Whereas there was a mound culture to the east and a hub of civilization, resources were being tapped underground in the West. Still today, many claim lairs of ancient giants mining operations and living quarters, even burial places all under the earth.

If you want to know more about these, I highly suggest the YouTube channel Terry Carter. Here, these stories are archived by a variety of explorers, curious people, and treasure hunters.

New York Sun, August 27, 1891
"The gigantic skeleton of a man, measuring 8 feet 6 inches in height, was found near the Jordan River just outside Salt Lake City, last week. The find was made by a workman who was digging an irrigation ditch. The skull was uncovered at a depth of eight feet from the surface of the ground and the skeleton was standing bolt upright. The workmen had to dig down nine feet in order to exhume it. The bones were much decayed and crumbled at the slightest touch. They were put together with great care and the skeleton was found to measure 8 feet 6 inches in height: the skull measured 11 inches in diameter and the feet 19 inches long. A copper chain, to which was attached three medallions covered with curious hieroglyphics, was found around the neck of the skeleton and near it were found a stone hammer, some pieces of pottery, an arrowhead and some copper medals. Archaeologists believe that the original owner of the skeleton belonged to the race of mound builders."

Although strange glyphs with weird characters are found all around Utah, perhaps the most interesting find are the Manti plates - lead, copper, gold, along with smelted gold bars and other artifacts found near Manti, Utah

In fact, the Henry Mountains, Kanab, Johnson Canyon, Sanpete Mountains, Duschene River, and tons more locations around Utah are said to house the remains of ancient giants in the ground.

This was a culture that traveled waterways and mined precious metals like gold, silver and copper, but reportedly also some rare earth elements like thorium, boron and strontium and others. All of these can be found mined in Utah, as well as neighboring states like Arizona and Nevada.

And so we know, where the metals are, the miners go.

Some elements we look for when discussing the locations of ancient giants are resources - waterways (Green River, Santa Fe River, Colorado River, etc) and mining potential (all these southwestern states). We also look for signs of strange characters and petroglyphs/pictographs that show signs of giant culture.

This 6-toed print above is in Fredonia, Arizona, right near the Utah border.

Dennis found this glyph in the Unita's with six fingers -

The Native legends are the most telling. The Navajo spoke of the Starnake People. “A regal race of white giants endowed with mining technology who dominated the West, enslaved lesser tribes, and had strongholds all through the Americas. They were either extinguished or ‘went back to the heavens.'”

This might also give credence to the missing tribes of the pueblo culture who built their strongholds in the cliffs. Tribes such as the HoHoKam, Anasazi, and Sinagua of the southwest went missing for some unknown reason in the same time period.

For a race that sought precious metals and even rare earth elements, utilizing the native people as workers would mean a large loss of a tribe, perhaps the entire tribe over time due to handling very volatile and radioactive elements.

There are a few things that could be going on here if the ancient giants were embedded in the mesa near the ranch.

One concept is that they had exposed to caverns some elements with radioactive qualities, like rare earth elements.

The other more titillating concept is that they had powered their underground world by a means that is zero-point energy and continues to run. What they are exhibiting in today's oddities is perhaps the effects of a strong powerplant beneath the earth.

The giants may be long gone, but their endless power supply continues....

In other words, they left the building but the lights are still on.
