Current developments demonstrating three different effects UFOs have upon people--indifference, immersion, and possible insolvency. An astrophysicist offers a reasoned explanation for her "noninterest" about what the three "grainy" F/A-18 videos of "unknowns" depict. On the one hand Katie Mack allows she lacks the proper technical and physics background to evaluate that footage, and she thinks most astronomers join her in believing aliens exist. On the other, we have the usual anti-ET-visitation stuff, and no apparent familiarity with any of the creditable UFO work done. But her article is interesting and evinces a frank yet not entirely dismissive attitude.
