In our first candidate for interview coup of the year, MJ Banias publishes the name and picks the brain of the individual who owns "the paranormal Disneyland" of "Hunt for the Skinwalker" fame. Brandon Fugal says it's not in the cards to make Utah's Skinwalker Ranch a "tourist destination," but of course it is subject of a History channel documentary series premiering at the end of this month. The "real estate mogul and tech investor" says he has a scientific squad that will be "releasing reports and information on a peer reviewed basis in the future." For now, as the History promo The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch states, he's "leading this team in a new investigation and, for the first time in history, allowing television cameras to document their shocking discoveries." Banias and Fugal cover other aspects about the deal, Fugal's general spiritual interests, and his creditable working with local Native American elders since he bought the place.
