Well, Project Blue Book (the tv series) is back, and at least its trailer doesn't show Dr. J. Allen Hynek investigating a "fresh" Roswell case. But historians may go nuts and should not have anything near the tv that could function as a projectile. George Knapp says "You would do well to get the facts if you are interested in the topic," and posts a link to some related material. Better yet, pick up a copy of
UFOs and Government, Michael Swords and Robert Powell, eds., published by Anomalist Books. Speaking of
Area 51: My Thoughts and Observations is Nick Redfern summing up the myth and mystery of that super-secret base. We proceed to the "Canadian Roswell" with
The Mystery of the Shag Harbour Incident. Brent Swancer relates the story of one of the best-officially-documented UFO cases, involving underwater antics that now call to mind
whatever it was that Marine Lt. Col Kurth noticed at the very beginning of the 2004 Nimitz "Tic Tac" encounters. Swancer also describes another "iconic" UFO event in
The Strange Encounter of Japan Airlines Flight 1628. (WM)
