TV Psychic Uri Geller Claims Responsibility for General Election Result - The National

Psychic spy and spoon-bender extraordinaire Uri Geller gave a "magic spoon," which once which belonged to Golda Meir, to Boris Johnson ahead of the election so that Jeremy Corbyn would not end up as Prime Minister. He claims success, but Geller has had clearly mixed results with past predictions and attempts of psychic influence. On a more serious note, the Parapsychological Association has announced its 2019 Book Award Winners: One goes to Terje Simonsen for A Short History of (Nearly) Everything Paranormal—Our Secret Powers: Telepathy, Clairvoyance and Precognitionand the other goes to editors Gerd H. Hövelmann & Hans Michels for Legitimacy of Unbelief: The Collected Papers of Piet Hein Hoebens. We think Eric Wargo's Time Loops: Precognition, Retrocausation, and the Unconscious, published by Anomalist Books, should have won, but then we are biased, of course. (PH)
