Like a million years ago, everyone was excited about Boyajian's Star's dimming 'til greyfaces talked over everyone to insist the phenomenon's boring like their grey underpants. But there's evidence of stars disappearing from the night sky and it comes from reliable, and trustworthy sources, like the US Naval Observatory by way of Stockholm University. Think of this as a gift from Eric Mack to have a sense of wonder about the night sky again, despite the Neil Sagans, Stephen Tysons, and Carl Hawkings grumping in their academic mouseholes. (CS)
