When--or If--NASA Finds Life on Mars, the World May Not be Ready for the Discovery, the Agency Chief Says - CNN

An important recurrent discussion in the ufological world is how humans would react to proof of alien visitation. In fact, it's rather a major tenet in the Disclosure movement that we're all ready for that event, and visions of medical cures, free energy, etc. flow mightily from that belief. Others, including scholars, aren't so certain. Take the Director of the Planetary Science Division at NASA, Jim Green. And forget about alien intelligences coming here for a visit. Green isn't even sure that simply discovering current or past life on the Red Planet could be "handled" by the public. Scottie Andrews covers this unsettling opinion owned by someone who's probably thought about it a great deal. Also on the current news front, Roger Glassel asks a very pertinent question at Why Aren't DeLonge and the Rest of TTSA filing FOIAs/MDRs? If nothing else, the likely consequent "stonewalling" would make for an element of suspense in the next season of Unidentified. (WM)
