Nessie keeps rearing her head--literally--in spite of the recent DNA study of Loch Ness concluding there is nothing unusual in the Scottish lake. This brings the official tally for 2019 to 16 sightings, and the year isn't over yet. And still there are more lake monsters to ponder.
The Weird Wonder of Wallowa Lake, aka Big Wally, is Oregon's version of Nessie. Reports of Big Wally are not as numerous as Nessie's, but so far there isn't a tourist trade geared around his sightings, nor is there a webcam trained on the lake to delight sedentary viewers everywhere. Maybe that's a PR job for an enterprising monster seeker...
