Ever heard of the term Killjoy? It's a person who spoils other people's fun. Mind you, we're not saying the author of this post is one, just that if they don't get invited to a lot of parties we may know the reason why. Evidently there are as many ways for a person to mistakenly believe they've seen a g-g-g-ghost as there are people who see them, and none of them are terribly flattering. Still, we are strong proponents of clear heads and good doses of skepticism. These very qualities are what helped a small town survive an onslaught from The Vrykolakas: a Greek Revenant that Knocks on Doors. While most of the community descended into terror and refused to sleep alone at night, it was the skeptics who hunted down and caught the very much alive troublemakers tormenting the town. It's all about finding the balance between common sense and an open mind. And staying out of graveyards at night. (CM)
