This latest on Stonehenge is not some airy speculation, but really grounded in fact. Using new methods, Dr. Christophe Snoeck has studied the cremated remains of people buried at the site and finds that a goodly amount were folks who "did not live near Stonehenge in the last decade or so prior to their deaths but came from further away." Now this is only 10 out of a small sample size of analyzed individuals, but it suggests to Dr. Snoeck that some of these people may have transported the bluestones employed in Stonehenge's early phases from the west Wales area.
