Corsicas Cat-Fox, On The Trail Of What May Be A New Species - Phys.Org

I remember the time Loren bounced me on his knee, telling me that cryptozoology wasn't all about monsters. Cryptozoology was about pandas, okapis, gorillas, and other critters we now view as commonplace and respectable. It's why we're pleased as punch to share the details behind Maureen Cofflard's expedition to suss out these tricky beasts from the shadows. Perhaps we'll be celebrating their discovery in 2069 in the same fashion Nick Redfern acknowledges A Monstrous 50th Anniversary On The Horizon. While Lake Worth's Goat Man may not be mainstream, this entity's impact on cryptozoology and folklore carries the same impact as Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin bouncing o'er the moon. Also from the pen, keyboard, thought-to-text gadget of Nick Redfern, there's More On The Giant Eel Controversy and why it's so gosh darned important when considering the reality of Nessie. (CS)
