Another Unknown Human Population Group Discovered in Siberia - Mysterious Universes

Siberia is holding fast to its position of weirdest place on the planet. Recent thawing has revealed another hominid species that existed around the same time as the land bridge between Europe and North America. So far these newly discovered peoples do not appear to be connected to our earliest North American aboriginal peoples, however. In Search of Our Ancestry: Missing Branches in the Human Family Tree suggests that the absence of certain fossilized remains is the result of warm, moist environments that were not conducive to fossil formation.
