Perhaps someday we will master time travel and all the speculating we do about past events will become moot. Until then, we have theories, lots of them. This newest on the Dyatlov Pass Incident involves frightened deer, a destroyed shelter, and resultant confusion that drove the hikers out into the cold in varying stages of undress. Ornithologists May Have Solved the Mystery of the Nazca Lines Birds. Not to get our readers too excited though-- it's a possible reason for the subjects of the drawings, not How They Got There. Decent step in the right direction though. Finally we have a story that at first glance makes no sense whatsoever.
Grand Chute Police: Kangaroo Reportedly Seen Hopping Across Interstate 41 Walking Bridge. It's possible the bouncy (Not hoppy--ever see a kangaroo on one leg? We didn't think so.) rascal escaped the zoo and took a tour of the area, but since there were no other reports of escaped marsupials it was considered an anomaly. We won't judge; we once saw a chicken crossing the highway in the middle of an Ontario snow storm. True story. (CM)
