Group Tracking ‘Bigfoot’ Shows 147 Reports of Sightings in Missouri - KSMU

The BFRO is counting the state of Missouri among its Hairy Man Hotspots. With more than 12 dozen sightings over the years, they've become adept at sorting the hoax callers from the sincere, and the unreliable from the certain. And whatever it is people are seeing, it's big, hairy, and not quite ape or human. Bigfoot: The Colorful Monster seems to come in as many hairy shades as we humans (less the salon-assisted folks), sometimes with distinctive crops that potentially make identification of a specific individual or its family members possible. Not that we're planning a drive-by-and-a-wave anytime soon, but it does help us better understand the lifespan and habits of this ever elusive cryptid. (CM)
