Harry Finlay and the Loch Ness Monster - Loch Ness Mystery

Glasgow Boy had the good fortune of connecting with Harry Finlay, an older gentleman who at the age of 13 was fishing at Loch Ness when a large unidentified creature swam past 20 yards out. Mr. Finlay was able to call out to his mother who then became a second witness to the brief but exciting incident. A lifetime later he still remembers verifiable details that add even more credence to his story. Next we are reminded that the world is full of strange and monstrous reports, such as The Mysterious Monster of Lake Superior. Initial reports of an enormous lizard-like fish go back to the 1800s, with more encounters during the next century describing a serpentine creature with a long neck and enormous jaws. It seems as long as there are deep and dark bodies of water, there will be no lack of monster sightings to keep us wondering. (CM)
