Colorado UFOs: To Believe or Not to Believe - Westword

Here's a collection of UFO stories and several interesting smaller bits. Michael Roberts covers author Richard Estep's look "at the human-interest angle and the colorful personalities" behind Coloradan UFO reports. While Estep may sound a bit naive about abduction events, he put in time traveling around the Centennial State, directly collecting information and talking to witnesses. To the northeast, Mysterious UFOs Return to Manitowoc and the Lake Michigan Triangle. Paul Seaburn links to a video and article touting "what may be the biggest UFO story of 2019." Opportunities exist to wring more data out of the case than was presented in either medium. A Sligo Saucer Story is an Irish turn-of-the-New-Year tale from 1978/9, stitched together by Shane Cochrane. The matter could involve a crash of something and features blame placed upon falling Russian scrap metal. Winner of today's longest headline contest is Nick Enoch's Shocked Passenger Films UFO from his Plane Window before the Mysterious Object Splits into Six Parts and Flies Off (Or is it Just a Reflection in the Window?). The four "bullets" following the title rather well explain the rest of the story, but guessing what the images themselves might be is fun. (WM)
