What’s That Smell? Unexplained and Mysterious Odors Appear Around the World - Mysterious Universe

We may complain that all we hear is bad news but that just isn't so. Some of the news stinks--a lot. So much so as to cause school closures and plane evacuations. But because we're suspicious types here, we're not buying the shoulder shrugs of authorities. Where there's a bad smell, there's someone covering their backside (or wishing they had). In other potentially gross news, Russian ship with 'vomit-inducing weapon' spotted off UK coast. A Royal Navy warship has been deployed to shadow the vessel and its three auxiliary ships to ensure no funny business as it passes near UK territorial waters. Accompanying foreign vessels is a common British Navy practice, but the recent emboldened activity from Russia is certainly testing their commitment--and possibly taxing their gravol supplies. (CM)
