US in UFO Race with China, Russia, Former Senate Majority Leader Suggests - Newsweek

Attempts by interested parties to keep public interest alive for a languishing sensation, or solid news? Newsweek's Andrew Whalen seems to think the former of this Senator Harry Reid-George Knapp interview. The part at I-Team: Former Sen. Reid Wants UFO Studies Made Public is apparently another portion of the same sit-down that was aired on January 31st. The UFO-interested will unquestionably accept the notion that other superpowers are and have been actively tapping all potential means of gaining a military advantage--or just to figure out for sure just what is going on. And perhaps it's not a Bad Thing for the former Senate Majority Leader to remind us. Reid's explanation of why a "Special Access Program" was set up also caught our attention in what, for better or worse, has been the biggest UFO story in some time. (WM)
