Rethinking P-Values: Is "Statistical Significance" Useless? - Psychology Today

P-hacking is a huge issue, but it can be a dreadfully boring topic. Be grateful as Christopher Bergland makes the topic accessible while arguing for the insignificance of the cliché "statistically significant" when scientists can prove anything to be factual by jiggering the numbers. Statistics remains an important tool for any scientist, but Christopher and The American Statistician have a couple of suggestions to keep scientists, and their numbers, honest. (CS)
