Leopard Thought To Be Extinct for 36 Years Spotted in Taiwan - Mysterious Universe

Some great news has emerged from Taiwan as a species of leopard declared extinct in 2013 has put in two cameo appearances recently. The Clouded Leopard is expert at avoiding detection so experts are not entirely surprised that their assumptions were incorrect. Now the business of protecting the species starts.  And still more good news, this time out of Australia. There is now a suitable book available to teach our littles--and grown ups--about the mysteries of the Hairy Man. Cropster provides a shining Book Review of Yahoo Creek: An Australian Mystery written and illustrated by Tohby Riddle. Although intended for a younger audience, it's so well done that it will fire up the imaginations of both adults and children. Move over monsters under the bed... (CM)
