Argentina: UFOs, Shadow People in San Rafael (Mendoza) - UFO Conjectures

More strangeness from the Argentine Republic. Investigator Cristiano Soldano interviews a truck driver who's shared the road at times with some very creepy folks. The impact such anomalous events have upon people is further examined in Hector Antonio Picco's High Strangeness: In Defense of a Witness. This article is essentially two different stories, and it would be helpful to read translator Scott Corrales' Note at the close of the article before launching into the Hilda Torper story beginning at the heading "The Search for Experts." CE3K: A Humanoid in Lanus (1964) continues the theme of extraordinary meetups with "aliens"--however that term may be interpreted--and the effects upon the witnesses. Seven Saucers Visit Miramar (1975) has the more pedestrian case of "UFOs at a distance." But Fernando Teryda's story of an initial performance of dazzling choreography, followed by apparent repetitions over several nights, ramps up the weird-meter. (WM)
