MJ Banias Reviews - "Project Blue Book" Season 1 Ep. 5 - (Foo Fighters) - YouTube

MJ Banias' video summary of the latest installment in the History Channel's Project Blue Book series could be viewed beforehand to prepare you for making sense out of the program. Or, afterwards to explain what you saw--or, watched instead. Banias is a scream. Rich Reynolds, to whom we owe the Banias link, adds his own shorter appreciation in MJ Banias Reviews History's Project Blue Book #5. Both seem to agree the series has veered even further into the fictional weeds; Banias thinks that's kind of a good thing, while Rich just sees confirmation of the series' putridity. Rich also sends us to a European appreciation in Jose Caravaca's Take on the Despicable History Channel's Project Blue Book. It's a worthwhile perspective from the Spanish ufologist and journalist, who takes historical accuracy, in a program claiming some relation to history, rather more seriously than do others. Alejandro Rojas' Project Blue Book Episode 5 also notes the careening into pure fiction, but finds the result less enjoyable than does Banias, and lowers his rating to 3 out of 5 stars. Rich Reynolds sees wider and drearier implications in his Ufology is Doomed by The History Channel's Project Blue Book. (WM)
