Giant Tortoise Believed Extinct For 100 Years Found In Galápagos - The Guardian

It's a great time to be alive if you're a cryptozoologist. Blue-eyed coyotes are haunting California. Rare black leopards are caught on camera in Kenya. Now presumed-extinct critters are coming out of the woodwork much like the Fernandina tortoise according to the AP, courtesy of The Guardian. The re-emergence of World's Biggest Bee Found Alive in Indonesia, and Helen Briggs has the scoop. Might these lazarus taxons snowball and herald the re-discovery of thylacines? One can only hope.
