A gentleman in Australia encountered an unusual, stiff-tailed creature while walking along a trail and had the presence of mind to photograph it with his cellphone. While the resulting image is inconclusive, that tail is compelling. And if you want to educate yourself this year on cryptids, there is a bumper crop of worthwhile programs on the roster as Cryptozoology TV and Film Projects Burst Forth in 2019. Keep your eye on the Travel Channel as it presents several worthwhile offerings for us crypto-nerds.
