(All) Those Roswell "Witnesses" - UFO Conjectures

Three thoughtful articles here; one on the most iconic UFO case, another on a major theme in humanoid reports, and a third on the field of ufology in general. Rich Reynolds has "Roswell fatigue," but he has to admit that a particular quality to that case is stunningly statistically unlikely as a hoax or other nonevent. His analysis, misgivings, and a first Comment to his text are worthwhile. Rich continues harking back to the Humanoid Encounters series by Albert Rosales with UFOs and a Slight Freudian Analysis. Rich sees differing cultural norms as coloring accounts of "space beings" in the 1950s and 1960s. And Intellectualizing Ufology represents Rich's recommendations for approaching the study of UFOs at a higher than "gee-whiz" level. (WM)
