Glasgow Boy gives a thumbs down to a tale published in a 1972 book by Ellwood Baumann that told of Nessie feasting upon a goat. GB reckons that this "is a story which has its tongue firmly embedded in its cheek." And on a similar note, he tells us that Colonel Buckshot Wants You! Our UK friends will get the reference to Tunnocks Snowballs, but for the uninitiated, they're not a Scottish weather phenomenon, but a delicious marshmallow confection. And they taste better than a goat. (LP)
