Fantastic Cryptids And Where To Find Them - Forbes

Why would Forbes have an interest in cryptids, you wonder? Well, apparently the Weirdos have become an economic force that is shaping the economy. Or the vacation industry at least--one tiny segment of the vacation industry...Take heart readers, as the doldrums of the season grab hold and make you yearn for other locales, there is likely a travel package out there made just for you, whether you want to explore haunted castles or go on a Bigfoot expedition. The tourist industry likes us, they really like us. But whatever you encounter, keep it to yourselves. There's a plan in place for Strange Creatures and the U.S. Government. Someone with authority had their thinking cap on when they decided the US needed a plan in case it turned out Bigfoot was real. (Or any other cryptid, for that manner.) But apparently it hasn't been taken very seriously because it's believed that since there is no scientific evidence that the Hairy Guy exists, there will never be any found. What a tidy self fulfilling prophecy.  Thank you for your (very narrow) open minds, gentlemen...(CM)
